Soil is not just a resource; it is also a cultural heritage. It is a force that shapes civilizations through art and literature.
"The Colors of the Earth" exhibition showcases the works of five farmers and five designers who create using natural dyes.
This exhibition highlights that soil is more than a source of nour-ishment; it is also a social and cultural space. Small-scale farmers and designers continue to produce despite the climate crisis, revealing the collaboration between agriculture and craftsman-ship. The natural dye obtained from walnuts by Gul Agis and farmer Ayse proves the indispensable role of soil in textiles.
